It’s about the woman..

Ok… Have you seen some of Amy’s latest sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes lately?

The root beer stand.

The outdoor adventures. ☀️

And especially — the rain room. ☔

Everyone is talking about it! And honestly, I get it. They should be.

The images are incredible.

One of my favorite things about working alongside Amy is watching what happens when she gets into a new space.

Give her a new location, an outdoor scene, a rain room, or even a corner of the studio she hasn’t used in a while, and she immediately starts seeing possibilities.

But it’s not because she’s looking at the set itself.

She’s looking at what the set could become.

She’s thinking about how a woman might move there.

How she might lean into that beam, how her face will catch the light perfectly.

She’s literally thinking about what story that space might help tell.

And somehow, what starts as a location becomes an experience.

But over the years, I’ve seen something that many ladies haven’t gotten the chance to just yet —

The magic isn’t actually the set.

(are you ready for this..?)

👉 It’s the woman standing in it.

I’ve seen women beautifully photographed in lingerie. I’ve seen women artistically captured in oversized sweaters, concert tees, blue jeans, dresses, and pieces they’ve owned for years because they simply make them feel like themselves.

I’ve watched them laugh, get caught up in the moment, lean into this amazing experience, and completely forget to be self-conscious.

Because they don’t have to be!!

Every woman being photographed is the masterpiece.

It’s not because of the wardrobe, the location, or the specific set (But yes – those are all ffiiirrree!)

It’s the woman.

I think so many of us spend years believing we’ll finally be beautiful when the circumstances are right. When we lose the weight. When we buy the outfit. When we feel more confident. When we fix whatever flaw we’ve decided is “wrong” with us

But that’s never what Amy sees.

She sees beauty in a woman standing in the rain.

She sees beauty in a woman wrapped in lace.

She sees beauty in a woman wearing her favorite jeans.

She sees beauty in a woman laughing so hard she forgets where the camera even is.

Because beauty isn’t tied to the setting.

It follows you wherever you go.

Whether you’re in our favorite sweatshirt, your wedding veil, a leather jacket, a little black dress, a pair of worn-in blue jeans, or absolutely nothing but confidence…

You are still the common denominator.

It always was and always will be about YOU. 💋
